Yes. AS used the Orion brand to continue to sell models that had been superseded. There was no downgrading of quality or fit out.

Hi Peter, It does not say Auto-sleeper on the van or that it was converted by Autosleeper in the info.
Would it have a AS build number?

The Orian vans were genuine AutoSleepers made at Willersey as a second tier brand and were sold by a different dealership network. They had pale blue graphics to give a different appearance to the equivalent AS Branded Van.    Nothing wrong with them and we have quite a few past and present owners on here.
Cant remember the Pavo, but the Zeta was in fact a Nuevo, The Gemini was a Windsor & etc
In the case of the Gemini its bathroom didnt have the plastic shower pullround as the Windsor has, so there were some minor differences.

The Vivanti branded vans were also built at Willersey and originally intended, and used as Hire Vans which eventually found themselves on the used retail market

Hi Paul, Like buses!   That 2008 looks particularly cheap.

Trying to get my head round AS making cheaper models to sell at the same spec?

I thought at the time it made sense.   There were AS dealers who were not doing the brand any favours as far as stocking was concerened and thought they had a dealership for life.
The Orian brand was launched and in areas where there were shall we say, few new AS vans to view in dealer showrooms.
An Orian dealer was appointed and IMO it woke a few main brand dealers up as the Orian dealers started selling vans and it wasnt hidden they were made by AS.   As it happened quite a few customers preferred the Orian trim to the AS trim !

The company I worked for most of my working life had a similar arrangement and many distributors "grew up from the minor to the major brands" though showing they could sell and not just take orders to place on the factorries.
