Hi,

Just wondered who is going? Dawn and myself are with the Fun lot as we aren't ASOC  members. Looking forward to saying hello to anyone and everyone up!

I often think that I'd like to visit some of these shows, but always find out about them days later, Could it be possible that in the future, anyone posting about a forthcoming show, could also post the date as well, as I for one would possibly attend. so_sad

I think it was widely trailed on several forums and I think ASOC are meeting up there. We are going basically for a chill weekend and no intention of buying a new van........... (famous last words........)

25/27th April (next weekend). Too late for advance booking but you can turn up and take a chance that there is room.

if you don't make that one, there is one at Lincoln, end of September, we'll be at that one.

Yes there are. Lincoln is the only one left for us this year.

It couldnt possibly be worse than that,,,   and we were in a good area.

Where Murph was any deeper water and they would have had to ferry them in rowing boats to the vans

I actually like the Peterborough Show but we have had enough of outdoor shows, depends how I am nearer the time but we may just go to the Western one at Malvern as we did last year

We were at the show on Friday and I have to say it was awful.
I remember a time when you could spend all day browsing the stalls and getting a good 'show price' on specialised products and clothing.
Yesterday there were about 15 stalls and essentialy it was just leisure shops had put some stock out at a slightly reduced price (10%).
The only thing I did find of interest was offered at £22 show price, I can get it delivered from Amazon for £22.50.
I think we're done with outdoor shows now, the Chepstow show was even worse sporting just two stalls (not counting the food places).
We found that both shows seem to more geared towards vehicle displays/sales these days.
Might try the NEC but I'm not holding out much hope.
