Hello
Hi
I am new to ASOF and would like to say hello to all members.
I/we have just become owners of an ex demo Auto-sleepers Mayfair caravan, which was the only van we could find that fitted our requirements, i.e. no longer than 24ft for access to our property, large fridge freezer, fixed bed, fitted motor mover etc. etc.
We gather there are not many Auto-sleepers caravans around.
Regards
Les & Maralyn

Re: Hello
Welcome from N.E Wales Yes not many caravan-owning members. I can only find 3 Mayfair owners (inc yourself) and 3 Westminster owners on the member list but you are very welcome, many aspects of the forum are just as useful to caravanners as motorhomers.

Re: Hello
Thanks to all for the welcombe
We have now completed our first major trip in the Mayfair (8 weeks touring France durin May & June), which unfortunately has developed a few (we hope) minor problems.
We met some Auto Sleepers motorhome owners during our travels, who showed great interest in the Mayfair, which shares a number of the same internal fixtures & fittings as their motorhome. They praised the service they had received from Auto Sleepers with some issues they had with their van, and advised that if we could we should get or issues resolved direct with Auto Sleepers, rather than our dealer.
The van goes back to Auto Sleepers for these issues to be resolved under warranty, the first week in August.
The issues aside, we are very happy with the van, and are looking forward to getting back out in it when the warranty works have been carried out.
Once again thanks for the welcombe.
