Pickled
Hi everyone,
I joined a while ago but can't remember if I said hello or not....... Not particularly good with techy stuff and forums and not very good with social situations/ettiquete. I drink too much and like to smoke a bit of weed (when i can get it). I have a 94 Trophy and love her to bits, some of my best moments in life have been in my van......... i think. Anyway, Hello

Re: Pickled
Thank you for the welcome Frank, It seems like a nice forum with very friendly/helpful people. As yet I haven't met anyone in an older AS van that I haven't liked, and I do make a point of stopping and chatting to other owners although I've never seen another Trophy (plenty of Tridents though) so I'm guessing they're quite rare now. I'll try and contribute to the forum but as I said I'm a bit socially inept...... but if I can help out I will. Thanks again.

Hi Steve, if I see a trophy weaving down the road with a faint smell of wacky Baccy coming out the windows I will give you a wave, john

Re: Pickled
Hey everyone, Thanks for the warm welcome.. Just to clarify things so no-one thinks I'm totally irresponsible I never drive under the influence. When I'm parked up for the night it's a different matter altogether, but even then I have to be sure I'm not going to get moved on (I prefer to wild it if possible)

Re: Pickled
Hello and welcome from another Trophy owner. There are about 120 Trophy owners listed as members on the forum, but not many 'active' ones.

Wow.. I had no idea there were so many around. I've only seen 2 others and they were in much better condition than mine, she's 20 this year and looking a little bit worse for wear but I still love her. What sort of MPG are you getting?? I'm averaging about 34 to the gallon and she's used everyday as my main transport.

Re: Pickled
Not sure what happened to my most recent post (am sure I clicked 'send', but it's not here!), but my fat jabby fingers pressed too many numbers, there is more like 20 other Trophy owners on the forum
Betty is also my only vehicle as I get 30-32 mpg (much better than my 4x4 at 23mpg!). I have seen another one local to me so there are some about.
Betty is showing signs of ageing now and my kids got me some new panels for her for Christmas ... just need to get them fitted and resprayed ...
