Re: habitation door
Could be door alignment or hinges loose or wire disconnected. I've had all 3.

Re: habitation door
On my Nuevo, the central locking only applies to the cab doors. Habitation door needs the key. Has it suddenly stopped working or has it never worked?

Re: habitation door
I had the same problem - wires broken at the connector by the door. Fixed easily by A/S, as it conveniently failed the day before the hab service. Mark also said it could be misalignment and easily fixed.
In other words - same answer as Peter. It is not an uncommon problem but easily fixed. My money is on the wires. You have to prize out the grey plugs and then unscrew the cover, resolder the broken wire and that should be it. I hope...........

Re: habitation door
If you open the window on the hah door you can get at the top two hinges and check if loose.

Habitation door
Had same problem. Clean the 3 prongs at the top of the frame on right hand side. Spray with WD40 or similar and push in and out several times. Cured mine and been OK since.

Re: habitation door
I suggest you still check the hinges and alignment as, if all is properly adjusted, the sprung wiping action of the contacts maintains electrical connectivity.

Re: habitation door
Had same problem with ours - had to slightly realign the contact pad and pack it out slightly. Before this it would only work if you pushed on the top of the door to make contact.

Re: habitation door
exactly same with mine Gizmo - although prior to that I had had to realign the door correctly due to the middle and lower hinges being loose.
Seems crazy that the hinges are held to the door by one hex bolt only!

Re: habitation door
Yes Backtrax - frequently have to remove the plastic hinge covers and tighten the hex bolt holding the hinges on to the door after they become loose.
