New to Motor homes
Hi All,
Well, never thought I would be here being an enthusiastic camper and caravanner BUT, caught the bug when we went to the Rockies with the camping and Caravan club on an escorted tour with a motorhome. We have fought the 'urge' for quite some time but visited Marques in Tewkesbury just to have a look around and ended up with a Winchcombe. Can't believe we have done it but so excited and collect it next week. A big thanks to my dear Mum who passed away a month ago and is now a part owner :-).
I am a semi retired aircraft engineer and moved from Bournemouth to North Yorkshire two years ago where my daughter has been a teacher for about 18 years now.
We rally with a small ACCEO camping club of which my wife is the rally officer and also with the camping and caravanning club. Now need to get involved with the motor home group :-).
I live near Filey, do a lot of Caravanning with wife and two big dogs, Lab and a retriever ( both very well behaved ha ha) and we look fwd to doing some serious travelling and rallying now we have this extravagant beast.
Also looking fwd to being active on the forum as I get my head around this slightly different form of camping.
