Hello, all

We've just parted company with our old VW T2 bay window and said hello to Hattie, a T4 Trooper - who doesn't leak, has real heating, a comfy bed and only 64,000 miles on the clock. Relief. And how good to come across an Autosleeper owners' forum!

Hoping to make more acquaintances over the years.....

New Trooper owner says hello Empty Thank you!

Post by aqv1957 Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:14 pm

Thank you for your welcome, ASOF members. All very cheery. We actually slept on the drive in our Trooper last night hugegrins - just to try out the bed, you understand.

Hello to Davismo, an almost-local to us. We had tried to look at a Trooper from just north of Norwich but it turned out the sellers hadn't been receiving our emails, sadly. Then Hattie turned up, newly reduced in price and so onto our radar.

Does anyone know where we could source a replacement small table - the one that should sit on a leg behind the passenger seat in a Trooper/Trident? Ours came without hers and we're missing it..... I posted on the wanted/for sale forum but have had no replies.....

Hi Angela,

How typical that a Trooper was for sale in Norfolk - I got mine fairly recently fom Stirling and drove it over 400 miles home!!!

I too am looking for tables, if you look in the van conversions forum Kimorlando posted table sizes - that might be helpful to you too.

See: https://www.autosleeper-ownersforum.com/t8724-t4-trooper-table-size

Kind regards,
Dave

Thanks, Dave - I'd noted Kim's reply and bookmarked it smile! Still on the hunt, plus looking for levelling ramps (trying Freecycle at the mo), a pair of which we gave away with our old T2! Ho hum....

Hi,

Yes I always want something after I've given it away / sold it...

Don't think ramps are too expensive, the dilemma for me is getting something that is useable but doesn't take up too much valuable space.
