Recent INCA owner/member.
As a ancient but hopefuly still active motorhomer/caravanner ( 49 years in the CC ) may I add a few musings regarding our short ownership of the Inca based on the one trip we have made so far.
Yes the water pump made a horrendous noise in as much it was embarassing to use late at night, the kitchen waste water was very slow to drain as noted by other members.
We found the bed preperation easier than in some caravans we have owned and although there is ample storage inside with lockers and under seat space the lack of drawers for smaller clothing etc; is regreted.
The gas locker outside contains two 6kg propane cylinders plus two leveling blocks and antislip mats with walking boots and a few other bits and pieces.
The outside storage locker is not vast but at the moment contains two folding chairs, wellingtons, toolkits ( vehicles and my own )so is quite a useful area.
Since that first trip I removed the wardrobe base and found the water pump fixed to the centre of the shower partition wall that did not seem stiff enough, the rubber mountings were screwed up so tight that the whole unit was solid, I clued and screwed a bearer the full width across and replaced the original mountings with new fuel pump ones off Ebay.
As the wardrobe floor was in one piece and quite a job to remove I cut it into two parts which will make removal much easier in future adding new support where required.
Testing it at home does show it to be much improved.
Regarding rainwater entering the engine bay the Boxer 2.8 injectors and heaters are not exposed although water did gather around the oil filler cap which I was not happy with so for the time being I have made a stainless catchplate witha drain tube that seems to work quite well when stationary but has yet to be checked on the road as location was a bit of a problem, ( the vehicle is on SORN at this time ).

Re: Any INCA owners on the forum?
Morning All,
Just read TCs post and I too cut the wardrobe floor in half to improve access to the workings beneath. It makes things so much simpler ( I wonder why Auto Sleeper didn't think of it ! ) and it also means that there is no need to remove the Sergeant battery charger.
Now there too is another slight annoyance, in previous vans the battery charger has been hidden away under the wardrobe floor or somewhere similar out of harms way but the Sergeant in my Inca is quite large and the cooling fan has a very audible hum when I should be getting my much needed beauty sleep. Also, it's position at the back of the wardrobe, where it can get covered in assorted clothing, doesn't seem ideal. I have mahe a guard out of 1/2'' square mesh too ensure there is always an air flow around it but I'm sure there must be a better solution. All suggestions gratefully received, well most suggestions anyway.
