Hello everyone!
We are Brenda & Gerry aka the 'BeeGees' and we live in Bexley, Kent. We had a VW Trooper many years ago and since then have had a caravan/motorhome/caravan. We would now like to have an Autosleeper Symbol as it seems just a nice size for getting around in. Looking on the internet every day and hopefully the one for us is out there and we will find it soon.

Re: Hello everyone!
Welcome to the forum, the Symbol is a good choice, my only vehicle and is not a problem going or parking anywhere. There is two of us and a dinky dog and the van suits us perfectly.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. Hopefully, in time, we will take part in some rallies and get to meet some of you.

We've done it!!!!!!!!!
Hello, it's the BeeGees again and we are now the proud owners of a Symbol!! Totally unexpected - went to the Marquis Show near Eastbourne on Friday just to look around and get ideas etc., ended up purchasing a 6 month old 2013 model. Can't believe we did that!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm in shock now. Excited and nervous at the same time!
Have to wait now for it to have all the usual checks and valet. Just wish we still had the summer weather with us. I'm Mrs Bee writing this, and feel I still want to try it out at different times of the year, but Mr Gee has always preferred the summer months. Trying to convince him, as we don't always get a summer, that we should use it 'out of season' after all it has adequate heating. Such a big outlay that we should maximise it's use.

Good for you, my point exactly. I think Mr Gee is coming round to the idea, especially for lovely Cities in the UK - enjoy your trip wherever you go, and whatever the weather.Oddsnends wrote:Hi & , agree with you we will be off somewhere this half-term whatever the weather.
