Boxer front TV table
Hi I'm new to this forum so someone might have already had this idea, however in 2005 I purchased a Nuevo ES and was surprised by the lack of space especially for the TV. We use the two single bed option so made this extra table to hold the TV, digital box and DVD player. It's attached to the cab by Velcro strip on the little shelf below the radio and folds flat for storing. The beauty is the table can stop their all the time (except for when your driving). It cost about £12 to make and if anyone wants the plans I will let you have them. Jim

Hi I have given up trying to put a picture on the forum, so if you really want to make a table I will measure it up and give a brief description of how to assemble it. The table is secured to the van with a Velcro strip below the battery and the support stand is hinged to the table top so it will fold flat. I have a picture and if you want it you will have to send me your email address. I have cut a shape in the front and made a second shelf so I can put the DVD box on it. The beauty of the table is you don't have to move the TV every time you want to cook, its also an ideal place to view the TV from.
Sorry about the pictures, I use several other forums and just browse my photos and put download loads of them to the CNC forums, I have tried several ways to upload pictures to this forum with no success so given up. Sorry.

Dimension and picture (I hope)
Ok I have some more pictures and some dimensions if you want to make a table. Its made from beach melamite from B&Q 25mm wide sheets.
The front with the hole for the DVD of digi box shelf is 65cm long
the top table is 35cm long with the hinge point 5cm in
the bottom table is 16cm long and 31cm down from the top table
I cut the hole 15cm by 17cm wide with a jig saw after fitting the bottom table to make sure it was level.
Just for reference you might have to put the van in 2nd to fit the table I find this hand because I don't have to apply the handbrake which is prone to sticking on Peugeot Boxers.
I have use 4 standard brass hinges for the tables and a length of chain to support the bottom shelf.
The whole thing fold flat (hope there is a picture of it) and a couple of strips of Velcro hold it to the small shelf below the radio.
Now the pictures (I hope)

addition
Forgot to mention the radio shelf is only 18cm wide so you need to cut the top shelf (see picture) to fit the unit to the dashboard radio shelf. As I mentioned I used self adhesive Velcro so as not to damage the van dashboard. We find this shelf very useful as we can also get the clock, remote and any other things that usually find there way down between the seat cushions. If you use the twin bed option it makes a great viewing position for watching TV in bed.
Any more info don't hesitate to ask.

Another addition
OK you know when you think you have covered everything well I forgot to say the 65cm length is for a 2005 Peugeot Boxer 2.2 Nuevo ES height from the floor to the radio shelf. Later models, different cab layouts or other van styles might be different so measure yours before cutting.

Jimthefish. I'm with www.servimg.com It's free. Sign in with then then on ASOF go to host an image and you might have to just put servimgs password in again then it will say select files (from your computer). Open the pic you want then I usually go for 380 px for blogs and click send all then insert all.
This helped Dave H put his pictures on.
