Newbie in New Zealand
Hi all
When we finally sell our house we will be returning to England. I know that sounds strange to many, but family calls, and we miss the English countryside. Retirement means we will have the time to explore all the places we couldn't afford to when we had a family, before we came out here, and we're just about convinced a mono-cocque is for us, but despite all the research, we are still a bit bewildered by the various combinations of size and base vehicle. I'll ask in another place about all that stuff, but in the mean time , if anyone would like to buy a house up here in sub-tropical Northland, you know where to find me. Perhaps I should have posted this a month ago when you were all snowed in.

England's where the family is, it's cheaper, it's more interesting, and I could mention a few other things, but I would be prosecuted. Many Brits would like to come back, and many Kiwis are heading for Australia. Having lived in Doncaster and Hereford, I think I'll pass on your kind invitation and head for the Marches

Thanks from NZ
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. When we get back to England we want to buy a Clubman, and hopefully get along to a few get-togethers and meet some fellow, what? Auto-Sleepers or mono-coquers. I think I must visit the etiquette section for the correct terminology. I don't suppose it will be until next summer that we get out and about as after ten years out here, I think we will have to acclimatise ourselves to the cold weather. I've noticed a few comments about the state of road repairs over there; I'll send some photos of the Kiwi road repair system. if you can imagine the main line from Euston to Glasgow without the railway track, and a bucket of dirt thrown on top, that's something like. And it stays like that for weeks until the traffic has compressed it!
