blinds on Talbot Auto-Sleeper Rambler van

Have recently purchased my "L" registered van and am thrilled with it,however bearing in mind the age of the vehicle the blinds on the side windows are worn and do not retract easily and fully.Is it a question of buying a whole replacement unit or can you buy new springs ?Where would I buy these items? I'd be grateful if anyone could help.
