88 ford flair auto. hi to all.
hi. a few weeks ago i bought an 88 ford flair petrol auto. i recon this auto box takes a little less stress out of driving in busy traffic. looking at past mot failure info on the vosa mot check website tells me there has been some welding underneath but not too much. Its mot comes up next week. it looks like its had a respray at some point and now there are a couple of light rust spots appearing. ive gone over them with wax oil just for know untill i see what the mot tells me.
I need a knew water heater as this one leaks and im going to get the warm air heater fixed if it can be fixed. i spose there would be bound to be some things wrong with a van of this age but the engine and auto box appear to be fine no slipping after a five hundred mile run from north wales to dorset via derbyshire and london. i had a good poke about underneath with my fingers looking for rot and poked in many places at the underbody for soft spots. it seems ok but the mot will reveal all.
regards to all here

Just curious, how did you come up with that name?
