Hello!! New owner here..................
Hello all!
Can't believe I've found my perfect site! I've just bought a 1985 Freight Rover Sherpa Autosleeper as a project! I love camping and love festivals and it was being sold by a family friend who wanted it to go to a suitable owner! One who would love and cherish it as they had (they are in their 80's and decided to give up driving!)
Anyway, Susan the Sherpa needs some attention! She is very damp, I think the side door seals may need some work but if anyone has any suggestions on damp ect any help or advice welcome! I shall post a topic now.
Look forward to speaking to you all!

Hi there,
Welcome from a very chilly Skegness, where we live in hope.
Stopping the damp is definitely a number one priority because it can do loads of damage in a very short time.
I therefore suggest that you install a heater and a de-humidifier even before you start looking for where it is coming from.
Best regards,

Welcome from North Wales
Practical Motorhome did a project on a Sherpa motorhome last year by their 'Gentleman Jack'. There are 13 parts to it, just search 'Sherpa' on their website and you'll find 'Motorcaravanning for less than £2000' an example is here..
