Hi All, We have just become the proud owners of a 1996 Renault Traffic Auto-Sleeper Rimini. We collected it on Saturday & spent all day yesterday admiring our new baby. So far we are very impressed with all the bits & bobs & have already set our minds to replacing the tired curtains. Old ones are off & new ones will be chosen very soon. 5 new tyres are going on tomorrow, as the old ones are perished! Full check & Full service will be carried out on the 23rd Jan by my trusty Mechanic, so fingers crossed!! Have lots to learn, so will be bugging you boys & girls for advise & ideas for the foreseeable future. We will be needing heat & as far as I can see there is no leisure battery, so these will be the first thing on the agenda. We live in Devon & hope to visit near & far over the coming years. Cheers for now, Chris up! & Sally hairdryer

Hi there,

Welcome from Skegness. beachball

I doubt very much that there isn't a leisure battery fitted; but they do tend to hide them away! wave

Check under the bonnet (either at the back of the vehicle battery or on the other side of the area), then under both seats and then under the beds and then ......... well it's not that big is it! up!

Best regards,
drinksallround

Wise move getting a check over before you start "proper". Motorhome tyres do tend to deteriorate rather than wear out so again a wise move for you to replace.

Hi Chris & Sally, and welcome to the forum wave
Not all Riminis were fitted with leisure batteries, but many have had them retro fitted. You can often get two batteries on the battery carrier with a little modification, depending on the size of the original battery.
