Newbie
Hi Everyone!
Just like to say hello. I own an Auto Sleeper Legend ( my first motorhome ) I bought it last June and am praying for drier weather this year as we take our two dogs everywhere with us. My Legend is a 1998 model on a Ford transit chassis and has a 2496 TD engine. We use it for day trips as well as longer trips.

Re: Newbie
Welcome to the forum, my first three campers were Ford Transits, the first one an Autosleeper Frisky. Prior to that I always used Transits as my choice of group van when I was a 'rock star'....hee hee
Those early engines were 'bomb proof' if you looked after them. One of our group vans did nearly 200,000 miles on the original engine, with only routine maintenance throughout our ownership, oil changes and cambelts etc., and was still going strong when we sold it !
Happy Camping.
Mike.

Tintagel....

Boaby[Hi, We had several stays at Tintagel last year. We like to use the Mayfair Stores car park in Fore Street. The field at the rear has hard standing and grass for the dogs.Walking distance to all amenities, shop, toilets, pubs, restaurants, take-aways and lovely coastal walks. One of our favourites - Don't tell everyone!]

Hi, Our LEGEND has only done 28,000 - hardly even run in! There is a little rust beginning to show on the cab which we are having sorted this month.
