Hello Empty Hello

Post by Stevebowtie Sun Nov 25, 2012 11:35 am

Now that the kids are old enough to want to holiday in the booze-soaked resorts of Spain (where did we go wrong?) my wife and I are thinking of swapping the caravan for a small(ish) van conversion. I'm impressed with Auto-sleepers because even the old ones have a loo, which is very important for gentlemen of a certain age who don't want to pad across a wet field to the lavvy at 2 am! Is that why the old ones are a bit pricey, or is that the dealers pushing their luck?

The older vans do tend to hold their value compared with some other makes but there are lots about and being used regularly.

Steve,

Welcome from what has been a warm and sunny Costa Blanca. beachball

I can recommend the Duetto and I can reassure you on two aspects:

1. Give it a few years and that toilet in the back looks good in ANY traffic jam never mind at 2am!! up!

2. It's not just "men of a certain age"! (Which is why they sell so many Tena Pads!) girl-thinking

Best regards,
drinksallround
Ian
