Post by David Benson Fri Nov 16, 2012 12:47 pm

We have blown hot and cold on the idea of a motorhome over the past few years. However we have now taked the plunge and take delivery next week of a 2008 Devon wrong time of year really but will give us a chance to get used to the van before going on longer trips in the spring summer. I retire next summer so hope we have made the right decision and choise of van. Although I understand a lot of folk change their van when they better understand what they require.

hi everybody nice to look at some chat about the A S Devon. we bought a devon 5 weeks ago it is going through the works at the moment, on inspection one of the headlight glasses was misting up so a new one ordered and we have been waiting 4 weeks for the replacment another week and it should be here, MOT tested and on it way because they are delivering it all the way from poole in dorset we are in south lincolnshire so i was not looking forward to fetching it, i am looking forward to checking things like has it got a spare wheel, were can i put a solar panel, rpm at 60, have been reading all the posts i just can't wait
