Hello from a very wet Wales
Having been an avid bike rider and camper for the last 25 years I've(read wife) decided to stop sleeping in the the floor.
I grew up caravanning (too many to remember) and motor homing, the most memorable of which was a ford Landliner. We currently have a large trailer tent but if you have owned one you know they have their draw backs.
Not wanting to buy a new tow car to go with a caravan we(read wife) decided to get a van conversion, that is to say she took my father to the local caravan shop to get some toilet chemicals and came home with a van, according to her it was an early Christmas present because I'm getting too old to be sleeping on the floor.
So what did we end up with?
A 1997 Duetto Auto and all in all it's in pretty good condition.
Inside it very tidy for it's age, and outside, considering it's a pre 2000 Transit it's in excellent condition.
We've already spent two long weekends away and find it's just right for the the three of us, oh of course, forgot to mention we have a spoilt third member of the family.
I do have a few questions but will post those in the relevant sections later.

Celticbiker,
Welcome to the forum,
Remember the ‘Landliner’ well …… a great conversion in it’s day, and we still sometimes see them around
Brian & Chris
PS …. Great pics

Maybe I'll meet some of you whilst on our travels, to whit, is there any such thing as ASOF window stickers or such?
I'm going to go and post a few Q's now.
