Hello
Hello. Have just joined the forum as the wife and I have just purchased a 1998 VW T4 Trident Auto-Sleeper.
This is our second camper van our first being an 1989 T25 caravelle which we purchased on a whim in 2010 but got the bug straight away. We initially went away for weekends in the country side then for weeks following the UK coast line. Then we got cocky and decided to tour France for a few weeks. Thinking we would drive right around France in the time we had, boy was we surprised how big France is but we got a couple of hundred miles past La Rochelle then hugged the south west coast stopping at all the major towns/cities until our return point Dieppe, 1480 miles in total of trouble free blissful camper vanning.. Now we want a little bit more luxury and smoother driving as we intend to travel further and have already booked our one way crossing to Bilbao in Feb. Before that we are planning to get the feel of the camper and learn how to use and work it all by having a few winter days away in her before the snow and frost get to bad.

Hi there,
Welcome from a damp and misty Skegness!
As Francophile's we well know the size of France and after living there for eight years, plus a further 20 years of visiting, we feel as if we have only just scratched the surface!
Best regards,
