New Owner
Hi Folks, Dave in a far corner of a sogy Lincolnshire here. I have just bought a Duetto after a long serch for a reasonable motorhome to suite our pocket and needs. We have been outdoor people for many years, from tents through to trailer tents and now to a Motorhome. We are too old for sleeping on the floor sober , trailer tents were a pain to dry after a wet holiday and I am alergic to caravans so a Motorhome is our next adventure. After seeing some horible, exspensive, smelling of wet dog and rusty motorhomes we nearly gave up. We were in the Wiltshire area on another marthon hunt and I got two vans mixed up and went to the Portsmouth area before Southamton. We found a 1997 Duetto, high milage, not too rusty and full service history. I know Transits so hopefully the milage shouldnt be an issue. It has been tarted up with new carpets but looks ok so we took the plunge and bought it. Domestic management says ok , it must have been the crockery that tiped the balance. Any way we pick it up a week on Saterday so here goes for a new venture. Any warnings or coments apreciated from you more nolageable people out there.

Hi and ,
Duetto's are great i have had mine for only 3 months,
But we are having great fun with her (must be a girl as she is my baby)
Love the way when you are parked up, people watching with the side Door open and a glass of wine in my hand the looks of envy you get from passers by......
You will love the van great layout and huge bed.....
Good luck...

Re: New Owner
Hi there,
Welcome from what has been a warm and sunny day in Skegness!!
Great choice of MH (but we are biased) and anything under 100,000 miles for a Transit is "just run in" so I wouldn't worry about mileage if the cam belt has been changed as per makers recommendations!
Best regards,
