Normans Bay (East Sussex)

Just returned from a short break at Normans Bay campsite, how chuffed was I to be pitched alongside a lovely "Sherbourne" (MrsCC even wants one now!)



Spoke to the friendly couple with the Sherbourne, gave them a sticker and calling card. The gentleman said he would log in to the forum on his return (hope they have no objections to me posting the above photo) They kindly gave us some magazines MMM & a VW camper mag to browse through


Other Autosleepers on site within a stones throw of our pitch, were a Symbol (Above) parked nearby, an Excelsior (Below), a lovely T25 (Below), As well as a Trident, and a late model Trooper.





Left a sticker & card with the lady with the T25 Autosleeper, they put the sticker in the rear window and later that evening her husband came over and thanked us.



Left stickers and calling cards under the wipers of the other vehicles as the owners were harder to make contact with, hopefully they were still intact after the showers that arrived shortly after wards! I did speak briefly with the senior owners of the Trident.


Lost count of the Auto-Sleepers in the Brighton and the Eastbourne area, that we left calling cards & stickers with so hopefully our weekend away will bring us in a few more members.

All in all, a very worthwhile trip

We were the couple with the Sherbourne at Pevensey.
Thank you recommending this site.
Took us a little while to get started on the forum. Been touring up to Hereford since Sussex and soon off to Yorkshire and perhaps Scotland if the weather holds out.
Very pleased with the Sherbourne, going very well, very comfortable to drive.
Have only seen two other Sherbournes, both on the move so no chance to talk to owners.

Hello again..... Glad you joined the forum, had a feeling Sherbourne1 was you but I wasn't entirely sure.
