New and Hi from the North-East !
Just about to collect my first ever Autosleeper- a Peugeot Symphony 1997 Symphony. Have camped with my Fiat Doblo self-conversion for the past 2 years, but recently took early retirement and wanted to upgrade to something roomier and more comfortable for all year round touring. Excited ! A lot to learn but hopefully going to be fun. Cath

Hi Cath,
Welcome to the forum from another Symphony owner.
Mine's a couple of years older than yours though as it's a '95.

Thanks all ! and thank you Frank :) mine is a 2.5 diesel and has 64,000 on the clock. Collecting tonight . Pure luxury compared to the Doblo which was way too small and summer use only. A lot to learn so no doubt I'll be asking advice on the forums ;) Cathboxerman wrote:Hi Cath,

Welcome from fellow Symphony owners from North Wales but at moment on a wet Lincoln showground. Our Symphony is also 1997 but petrol. You are in my favourite part of UK having lived for a couple of years near Newcastle airport and been back many times.

Thanks ! I'm just south of Newcastle and near the coast :) Just trying to sort out insurance quotes by phone here :( the Caravan Club and AXA are both the same £450.00/year as I don't have private off-road parking...CathPaulmold wrote:Welcome from fellow Symphony owners from North Wales but at moment on a wet Lincoln showground. Hi there,
Welcome from a damp and chilly Skegness.
With regard to insurance, we have Caravan Club because we are allowed to be in Europe for 270 days per year! Worth checking this aspect out if you intend to go overseas a lot.
Best regards,

Thanks again all ! Not slept at home yet since collecting my Symphony last Friday evening. 2 nights wilding, 2 nights on my local Caravan Club site to check everything out . Mostly great so far. Will post a separate topic on my " first impressions ". Cath
