Re: Lpg sales
went 20 miles each way to fill up lpg. after a great deal of faff managed to fill, cost £4.92. cost £10 to get it! don't trust them led light gauges. bloke in the garage kept telling me i was doing it wrong and he had never had any problems before. turns out after much palaver he hadn't switched the pump on!

Re: Lpg sales
That happened to me once, so I asked the assistant to fill for me, he then found out the pump was switched off. Just cannot get the staff at times these days!

Well now that you have edited your post to add more information, perhaps it does make sense. That doesn't make comments on what you wrote originally "stupid" - it just means that you didn't include all of the relevant information when you originally posted it.

Let’s make it clear that the following part of the OP was edited in some hours after the original post was made -
“after a few minutes the pump started and filled as normal Sheffield .”

Re: Lpg sales
I'm not sure what "I called to fill my lpg today at 2,00" means. Is 2,00 0200Hrs or 2 o'clock in which case am or pm? Perhaps it doesn't matter. The fact was it took a while for the pump to work which has been my experience. I topped up yesterday at Marquis Exeter which is very conveniently located off the M5 and they came out to do it for me. All I had to do was position the van correctly. It took 4 litres at 99p a litre, so didn't break the bank, and was very quick

Are you addressing me? My post was clarifying what was in the OP at the time other folk responded thereby showing their posts were perfectly reasonable and, as you infer, not stupid.

Re: Lpg sales
We seem to be mixing up who said what to who. Let's end the thread now. I note that Molly won't have seen any of the latest comments as she hasn't been on since 8.33 last night and hasn't responded Rooperts post. Let's simply move on.

Re: Lpg sales
We use the one in Stroud, but we're Malmesbury based and it's about equidistant there or Devizes. Cheaper though.
I see there's a couple in Stonehouse too. Useful if you're making your way up the M5

Re: Lpg sales
Thanks for the info but as we live near Melksham the Devizes one is better for me.
