Habitation door on 23 Nuevo, LPG
Hello,
The outside handle on our habitation door has become detached from the opening mechanism, it just moves in and out without doing anything. It's really inconvenient as we can only access through the cab.
On the inside there is a cap which prises off to reveal a screw which I removed. I could then partially pull out the inside door handle assembly but the outside handle is lower down and I couldn't get the assembly though the hole sufficiently far to see what the problem might be. Any advice would be welcome.
We have an onboard LPG tank and filling stations are becoming like hens teeth. On a recent trip to France we saw that LPG (GLP) was available at nearly all motorway service stations. We called for a refill but the nozzle is a male connection and the adaptor that was suppled with the vehicle was not the correct type. Has anyone out there found the correct type.
Thanks in anticipation.

If it's still under warranty take it back to dealer. It sounds as though the inside skin of your habitation door needs to be separated from the door so that the locking mechanism can be accessed. It could be that the connecting rod between the inside latch and outside door handle has become detached or the screws securing it to the outside door handle have worked loose. Are you sure the outside key hole is at the vertical, if not the handle thinks it is still locked.

Habitation door LPG adaptors
Hello all,
Thanks for your replies. It does look as though the door will need splitting to access the fault. As it is riveted I think I will leave it for the dealer. I have an appointment at the end of the month for another problem, which will be my third Zenec unit, but time slot allocated may mean no opportunity to look at the door. Annoying as it is a 200 mile round trip.
The door problem is disappointing as I had a new door fitted at Auto sleepers in May last as the previous one had a split in the inner casing. Does anyone know who the door maufacturers are?
The Zenec unit with the vehicle from new stopped working after 3 months. We had a new one fitted last October and that was fine until June this year when the radio just seized up; we could not change the programme or get sound, but the Apple play section and the reversing camera worked. We have been away in France and on return to the UK my wife was working the buttons and the radio suddenly came to life. When we got back to base I turned the unit off at the dash switch and it now just shows the Zenec screen and no apps, but the reversing camera works. Has anyone fitted a different unit; an electrician friend suggested Pioneer.
I am not looking forward to when the warranty expires.
Re LPG adaptors, The Dragon website just show gas consumables, and the links provided show the page not available.
Thanks again,
Peter H

Beware with Pioneer units, they must only be fitted if you have accessory position on your ignition switch, otherwise they only work with ignition on.
For lpg adaptor, have a word with Autogas2000 who now own the Gasit name.

You haven't read all the thread (2-pages) I sent you on Friday as it explains how the door is split which is not riveted and tells you who manufacturers it.P Hoyland wrote:Hello all,
