Good morning,
I am needing some help advice please, we have found a damp patch around our toilet in the floor.
Has anyone removed their toilet? We want to try to find where it’s been leaking walls all dry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have just recently removed the toilet from our 2009 Broadway. It’s quite straightforward really once you work out where all the screws are. Can you put some pictures up of your toilet to confirm they’re the same model?
This is how I did mine
1 remove toilet cassette
2 remove x4 screws holding the top tank filler accessible after dropping the cover flap
3 using a sharp blade cut through the sealant between the top tank filler and the bodywork. I used a multitool with a very thin blade.
4 remove the top tank filler external piece
5 remove the x4 screws holding the toilet to the floor. The screws are accessed through the cassette hatch. The two screws furthest away from the hatch are tricky to find as they are hidden behind some raised moulding.
6 disconnect the wires feeding the pump and switch located just to the left of the cassette door. I marked the cables to ensure they went back together correctly.
7 remove the toilet by gently pulling the top towards you then lifting the whole unit out.

If it’s the same as ours you will find hot and cold water pipes underneath the wooden plinth the toilet sits on. The rather cheap and nasty push fits were what had started to fail on mine.

As all the best workshop manuals say, refitting is reverse of removal but make sure you clean up off the old sealant from the top tank filler and wall and replace with new.
Hope this helps but feel free to drop me a message if you need anymore info

Best wishes
