One week to go. WEnt and had a look at tyhe model again today. Sat in the front seat, laid down on the bench seat and pretended to boil a kettle.
In fact I bought a new kettle today and a small slow cooker.

Im indoors aint playing my games
Im indoors wont play.
I wanted to put the sun loungers in the garden opposite each other then put 2 dining chairs in front. I could then pretend to drive and stop overlooking a Loch somewhere. Then I could turn my chair round and have a cup of tea. He wont play.
4 more sleeps

I have got it.
Yes its mine. Bit of a hic cup prior to handing over but all sorted. Got home about 15:00hrs and the grumpy old git decided he wanted to try it out. 16:00 put bits and baps in a bag, blankets and a bit of food all laying on the floor. Then off to the petrol station put a little fuel in and we were off to Clitheroe. Arrived then spent the next couple of hours sorting the bit and baps out into cupboards whilst GOG sat and read the instructions. 21:00 hrs he wanted to try the bed out (Sleep for those of you are thinking something else. That will come later). Bed made up and laid in bed watching the clouds whizz past. 06;30 GOG wakes up. Puts kettle on and makes a brew. (In all the years we have been caravanning he has made a brew in the morning maybe twice) 07:00 brew drunk and he wants to put the bed away and start playing with things. I carry on sorting out the cupboards. This goes on for a couple of hours then we take the dog for a walk.
We get back and GOG decides I have put bits and baps in the wrong cupboards and starts moving stuff about. I leave him to it. Later he takes the dog for a walk and I move everything back.
On his return I make tea. He moans that there aint much. I explain, rather forcfully, to him that if I had enough time on Friday I would have loaded more food. I think he accepted my explanation after I sort of swore at him a couple of times. Tea over and we sat down and he discussed how he could improve the layout. I nodded my head a few times shook it a couple of times. I had no idea what it was talking about but he was happy in his little world. (Had the motor home less than 48hrs and he wants to make alterations. Not sure what planet he came from.
Slept in single beds tonight. It was OK. Woke up this morning and it was raining. Decided to pack up and go home and re- pack it up with the bits that were missing from fridays load up.
Next weekend we are off to the Lake District to try it out.
I suppose I am not now a newbie so will report elsewhere on this site.
PS GOG has decided that I can sort the cupboards out now as I will be using them most.

Love it. Just read out the whole post to OH, both laughing our heads off having been there, done it and bought the T-shirt. Loved the bit where you said 'slept in single beds tonight'. We always sleep in single beds in the van, never at home, just can't be bothered to make the double up plus it's easier to go to the loo in the middle of the night. Enjoy your trip to the lakes.
