Dingwall C&G club site
There are three of us on here tonight, our Clubman and two executives. Rob and Lisa in one, and haven't spoken with the others yet. All within 10 pitch numbers!
Think we're starting a club meeting.....(And ours is still the eldest)

I knew what you meant. I like that site and it’s ideal for dogs.

It certainly is. We stay here a few times a year, as it's our closest optician that decent. The dogs love it!

Do you remember it before they refurbished the facility block? Even then it was a great site.
It’s always been a good stop over for us on the grand trek north.

No, don't think so. Can imagine it would still be good... About 24 years ago we were living on the black isle, so would be heading further afield then.
Staggies are at home against Aberdeen today, so it's busy out there just now. Lot of Aberdeen shirts on site...busy in here tonight.

I would say it was around 10 years ago. The inside of the building matched the outside before the refurb.
Staggies - I didn’t know that was their nickname but I’m an ignorant southerner

Must have seen it, we used to be at the hospital quite often, which is just past the turning for the site, past the courthouse.

Re: Dingwall C&G club site
Seemingly the c&cc now have a policy that their staff can only be on any given site for 5 years. Billy, the warden here, is retiring after next season, and it's his and Alison's 5th year here. He asked if he could finish off here, and they 'said' "yes", but on paper they are getting sent elsewhere next year. I hope the next wardens are as good!

I’ve seen numerous wardens over the years. One great Irish couple fitted us in on a dead end road when we had a breakdown.

Aye, as much as it's a nice site, the attitude of the wardens makes it better.

Will be at Dingwall again Friday and Saturday. Time for the eye tests... I'm needing some new giglamps.
