Autosleeper Bourton
Hi all, great to find a busy and knowledgable owners forum for these motorhomes. Hoping to not have to delve to deep but handy to have in case.
After years of talking about buying our first motorhome we have finally taken the plunge. Spent a good couple of days wandering around local (ish) dealers checking out all the various lay outs before deciding that the Bourton lay out was what we wanted with the added bonus of it being on the Merc platform which was what I wanted.
Have just spent the last fortnight away with the van and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves so much so that we are looking for our next free weekend to get away again.
Only question is why did we wait so long.
Based in the NE of Scotland so lots of places to visit on our door step and can’t wait to continue our journey.

Hi and welcome from the NE corner of Lincolnshire. For some reason our travels in Scotland have missed the NE corner. Maybe a distant plan for future travels.

Welcome from Stirlingshire, Mikie711. When you say "the north east" are you talking Grampian or the other side of the firths.
We were up there for a few days last week, one of our routine visits.

Welcome, you are right about should have done it sooner, but plenty of time and lovely area to explore.
We are in Angus which I consider to be North East, albeit at the bottom end

Stay in Aberdeenshire so plenty places to visit without having to travel too far. Looking forward to exploring Scotland, UK and Europe in the coming years.BobK wrote:Welcome from Stirlingshire, Mikie711. When you say "the north east" are you talking Grampian or the other side of the firths.
