Just bought our first Motorhome - 2 Berth VW Trophy 1994
Live in Keynsham and for you older folk 'Thats splelt K e y n s h a m - Luxemborg Radio
Will probably be using the forum on a regular basis as we virtually no very little about this new world we are venturing into

It means a lot to me, as I well remember good 'ol Luxemburg 'fading' in & out as Horace-Bachelor ( I think it was) spelt it out hugegrins

I'm only 3 or 4 years younger Frank and I remember well the Radio Luxembourg adverts for Horace Batchelors football pools winning system from K-E-Y-N-S-H-A-M

Off topic again, but during the 60's we used to arrange our cars on east-coast cliff-tops & the DJ's would ask questions on via the radio & we would

then flash our lights at Caroline, 1 flash yes, 2 flashes no etc. at the DJ's ivitation. Life seemed simpler then:hugegrins:

"Yes!" I well remember the "Radio Luxembourg programme on 208 metres medium wave"!! Living in the North, and having the cheapest of valved radios, I'm afraid that most of the time listening was an act of faith as the signal strength drifted up and down so badly that I only got half of any song!

I don't suppose in a million years that you are the John Crouch who worked with me in Riyadh back in 1980/81; but if you are, please get in touch with a PM.
