Broadway Problems With Keys & Locks ?
Hi we have just taken delivery of our new Broadway yeasterday and amongst other things are trying to fathom out all the locking and security devices. Think we have the Sigma Cat 1 remote sortedbut can't fathom the Peugeot Boxer key? Top end unlocks cab, bottom end unlocks habitation door (allegedly) and middle one locks everything. Sounds logical but doesn't work all the time. Problems unlocking the habitation door so have to do it from inside. Cab doors don't always lock when you think they have either! Do we have a faulty key or are we doing something silly? If faulty do we go back to Marquis or find a Peugeot dealer?

Hi Rick and Sue,
Back to Marquis I would say, you should have been told all about this on hand over and if it is faulty it is up to the supplying dealer to sort it out, your contract is with them not Peugeot.

Re: Broadway Problems With Keys & Locks ?
Hi, as above - back to the dealer........ best thing to do.
I have a Broadway but a slightly older one (2010) and have a strikeback alarm. One thing that we have to be careful of, is the hab door - make sure that it is firmly shut or the central locking doesn't make contact. It is probably a small adjustment thing which I will address when it goes shortly back to autosleepers factory for a hab check and a couple of minor gribbles (it was easier to go back there as I am only about an hour away for that weekend and what better to do that than the factory? They were cheaper than the dealer as well..........)

Update on the above.
Two days before the hab service (today) the central locking failed to the habitation door. I mentioned this to Mark at A/S and he guessed either the door needed realigning a bit or the connection had failed. It was the latter and is a simple repair to take off the cover and re-fix. A well known problem with these doors
By the way, really first class service from the A/S service centre. Polite, efficient and very knowledgable. Not expensive either - certainly a lot cheaper than Marquis Ipswich and I have a lot more confidence in them so worth the journey. Being the builders, they knew exactly how to fix the little bits like a slight creaking noise - it was the curtain pelmet......... Recommended.

Hab door problems continue
Took the van back to Marquis who said it was a Peugeot problem! They played around and actually made it worse , initially we could centrally lock from key but only open cab doors from key and hab door had to be opened either manually from inside (external lock and key wouldnt work) or using button on dashboard. Not too bad. Now however we cant open the hab door at all from inside but it now sometimes unlocks from outside with key but definitely not with key fob. We are getting frustrated! Marquis have now arranged for someone from the alarm company to come and investigate! Watch this space. I think Peugeot may have broken the hab door locking handle as it now wont go into deadlock position at all. Bit disappointed as only bought this 4 weeks ago as new, well ex demo!

Problem solved!
After much concern the problem has been sorted. Marquis said it was Peugeots problem, peugeot said it was the alarm company and the alarm company said it was Marquis's fault. Anyway they all had a go at the door and finally the door needed a new locking mechanism. So all sorted. I have to commend Marquis at Southampton who stayed on the case and arranged for the alarm company and hab door specialist to turn out to fix this at my home but unfortunately that didn't quite work out due to illness so instead they sent someone to collect the van, stored it securely until the hab door specialist returned, then delivered it back personally. What service! My faith has been restored and we can look forward to using our van with renewed confidence in its security! Thank you Marquis Southampton!
