M6 northbound
All northbound traffic being taken off at J39 , massive queues to this exit, reason is hgv has hit central barrier and overturned about 20 miles further on, stationary queue there for couple of miles, now turning vehicles around and presumably take them back to J39 to get off. Anyone travelling up that way, avoid at all cost.
Plus thick fog and heavy rain from Tebay services southbound. Appalling day for travel.

We sat on that stretch of the M6 for 7 hours last summer, due to a milk tanker rolling over, re routed via Preston.Paulmold wrote:All northbound traffic being taken off at J39 , massive queues to this exit, reason is hgv has hit central barrier and overturned about 20 miles further on, stationary queue there for couple of miles, now turning vehicles around and presumably take them back to J39 to get off.
