First MOT

My Broadway is shortly due its first MOT but I've had conflicting information from different garages about whether it requires a class 4 or class 7 MOT.  It is more than 3 T so I thought it would be a 7 but one garage has told me all motorhomes are just class 4 

Keen to make sure I book the correct one!

Just to say that I used to work at an MOT station and motorcaravans were class IV.  Just check your registration document to ensure it's registered as a motorcaravan with DVLA.    Old MOT certificates used to state class.  Can't seem to spot it on the new ones.

Class 7 vehicles are light goods vehicles, motorhomes are tested as class 4 irrespective of weight. Before I retired I was a tester at government HGV test stations and tested many motorhomes, all were tested as class 4.
