Britstops
I've subscribed to Brit stops for a few years now. I received an email from them, inviting me to renew "At the existing price of £44 per year". Except that I only paid £28 last year. And one of the "benefits" that they are offering is that it's now digital only, and they are no longer producing a handy paper version!
They used to be a nice family run little outfit, but I believe that the owners wanted to have a well earned break, so sold the business to the American equivalent of Britstops, who it appears want to screw every penny they can out of us poor motorhomers. Well not me, we don't use them much, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. In future I'll just ask a friendly landlord if I can park overnight in their car park!
Cheers
Brian

Re: Britstops
I resisted joining ever since a glance at the book at a show . It listed the Little Roodee in Chester (a pay anď display) which is a public car park available to anyone.

I'm giving it up too. Never used in two years plus very awkward to use with only one device authorised at a time and log-ins etc.

With the availability of websites/apps like Search For Sites etc I’m surprised anyone does it to be honest.

I paid them on 7th Feb and they are still sending me reminders to pay. Trying the Contact Page I get a 404 page not available. Anybody got a phone number, or heard anything about their trading problems?

Re: Britstops
Hi, I've just looked at the contact page, and I can see a "send a message" option. Have you downloaded the new app? That may help.
They were pretty quick to reply when I sent them an email saying I wasn't going to renew!
Good luck,
Brian

I have not renewed. Today received a 25% discount offer if I renew. I shan't be however.

Re: Britstops
Thanks Brian. All sorted now. Apparently I had changed my username at one point and had two accounts running.
