Introducing myself to members
Hello everyone my name is Graham,
I have to admit that I registered for the forum quite a long time ago, but I never got round to introducing myself, having never needed to leave a post or respond to one – until now that is – apologies for that.
My wife and I have owned our 2001 1.9TD Symbol since 2002, it being the first and only motorhome we have had. Both the conversion and the base vehicle have been excellent and allowed us to tour all round the UK and many European countries. Like the Pug I am beginning to show signs of age now, but I still manage to do all the maintenance work myself.
Having said that, the one problem that I couldn’t tackle was when the gearbox syncromesh gave up a couple of years ago at 104,000 miles. I am hoping I can be of assistance to Kevin who has the same problem and whose post I was alerted to by a forum email containing trending subjects.

Welcome to the forum Graham There are many who join, or just look in on, the forum and perhaps underestimate how much they could contribute as well as gain by being an active participant here. Well done you for your offer of assistance
