Hello all
Dear all… thanks for having us.
We sold our Mobilvetta K80 recently and love the Warwick Duo or XL van.
Is anybody selling or thinking of selling. Louise and I are looking for a 2015,2016 or 2017 year.
Please do get in touch as we are stuck at home vanless and need to get on the road soon….
Thanks in advance

Re: Hello all
Welcome Jenko.
They are very popular vans so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding one. We’ve had 2 Duos - brilliant vans. Couldn’t take to the XL though as the washroom bulkhead prevents the driver's seat going back far enough for me and I find the longer wheel base 6.3m less manoeuvrable. Obviously, it’s personal choice.

Thank you for message. I am 6’2” so your advice is really important. Also the manoeuvrability. We will focus on the duo. Thank you so much. Cheers

Re: Hello all
That would definitely be my choice. Being FWD, the turning circle on these vans isn’t wonderful and it's slightly worse in the 6.3. Obviously that’s my opinion and others will think differently.Jenko8882 wrote:Thank you for message. I am 6’2” so your advice is really important. Also the manoeuvrability. We will focus on the duo. I found it impossible to sufficiently adjust the rake of the seat on the XL. You might find it OK. There’s no doubt the washroom of the XL is roomier but, personally, I preferred the offside kitchen of the Duo.
Good luck in your quest.

Re: Hello all
Hi and welcome, I am only 5' 7" and find the Warwick XL is a better van for me personally, mainly because of the single bed layout and the separate shower cubicle, where you can have a shower and keep your toilet paper dry. As Tinny noted the rake on the seat is quite limited if you are tall and need the seat pushed right back. There is no such beast as the perfect van.

Re: Hello all
Thanks for your message. I think the length of the van may be the main decider as we sold a 7m motorhome to purchase a smaller van. Thanks again Ian

Hi Jenko, welcome to the forum. I'm 6" and have the Warwick XL and don't have too much trouble. I agree, the toilet bulkhead does stop you moving the seat back a bit but the single bed option and being able to have a lie down for a break during a long drive swung it for me.
I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever van you end up getting.

Re: Hello all
Hi and welcome to the forum. When we looked for our first van it was frustrating that a lot of beds were advertised as being 6ft. Being 6ft tall it just didn’t work. One dealer measured a bed for us at Lincoln show and found even though advertised as 6ft it was 5ft 8ins long.
The Warwick was out of our budget range at that time but we did look at the Warwick XL before we bought the Rienza.

Re: Hello all
Both the XL and the Duo have good length single beds. We found no problem at all sleeping in the Duo or lounging by day.

Re: Hello all
I'm sure the bed lengths are exactly the same in the Duo and the XL. The extra 30cm total van length is given to the washroom on the one side and wardrobe/drawers (instead of hanging over bed) on the other.

Re: Hello all
Good point, Paul. In layout plans it looks as if the wardrobe in the Duo reaches the floor whilst, in reality, it’s a very short cupboard ending well above the bunk s can just be seen on the left in my pic.Paulmold wrote:Edit postI'm sure the bed lengths are exactly the same in the Duo and the XL. Edit: Sorry, that placement went doolally.
