Hello all

After dreaming about it, and finding endless excuses not to, for........get this - 30 years!!!!!!, I've finally got around to getting a VW Autosleeper Trooper. It's a 1992, not perfect, needs some work but I'm ready for that. I've been out twice so far and absolutely loved every minute. It's a perfect touring vehicle IMHO, incredibly comfortable both to drive and live in. Add to that the fact that I can effortlessly take my bicycle on the back Fiamma, and it's just ace.

FWIW, a little about me. I've been camping for 30 years - in tents, caravans, folding campers, using cars, 4x4, motorcycles and bicycles, both in UK and Europe.

Anyway I look forward to being able to contribute to the community and hope to learn from your wealth of experience.
