Hi There!
Hi Everyone
We recently (3-4 weeks ago) bought our campervan. It's a 1998 Symphony. It's our
second 'van, and compared to the first, a 970cc Bedord Rascal based Romahome, it's
absolute luxury! We wanted it primarily for festivals but hope to have lots of weekends
away too.

Re: Hi There!
Thanks everyone. We certainly are spread all over, aren't we! It's strange seeing all the avatars of the same vehicle bein displayed, I suppose I'd better take some photos of ours.
I've been making a nit of myself this morning. On our first outing I couldn't seem to get the gas cooker going. Now it's a good 2 years since I last used gas in a van, but even so, I thought there was just the regulator and isolators to turn .. but I got no flame ... anyway, we gave up, and although I could hear liquid in the camping gaz 907 cannister, I thought it must be empty, so I order another, only for them to tell me when I went to collect it that they think mine is full! Aaargh, anyway, put it back in again, try again, fiddle with kobs slightly, seems a bit particular how the kobs are turned ... and sure enough I can hear the woosh of gas now.
The manual seems to refer to electric ignition, but it doesn't seem to have that (yes, I remembered to turn the 12v on )

Welcome to the forum Marc
Our Symphony is a '95, a bit older than yours.
Have you checked that the gas isolators in the cupboard are turned to "on"?
We don't have electronic ignition on the cooker either, even though the manual mentions it.

Re: Hi There!
They are great little vehicles, but I'm glad we have more space and power now.
Similar great use of space though, on the Autosleep as on the Romahome.
