Nope, stayed there once during the Glasgow fair, never again.

So what's wrong with it? (apart from traffic noise) good for transits for soothmovers or us for a last night on way home.
Should have avoided Fair week.

I'm another that has used it to break a longer journey, Gloucestershire to NE Scotland. Very convenient for that purpose but not sure I would call it a holiday destination unless you wanted to visit places in the the vicinity. I'm booked again this autumn for the journey up and down to Culloden Moor.

I would agree, it would be good for a stop over but not as a holiday destination unless your in a caravan or don't mind driving around in the MH as it isn't really near anything and there are absolutely no transport links nearby.
I'm only about a 20 minute walk away and I've often thought that it would be good for watersports enthusiasts but that would be about it.

I'd say it's ideal as a stopover, or perhaps the weekend. Not much in the way of "holiday" facilities, but a handy place to know if on route to the Highlands.

Hi, did someone say you need to book Strathclyde Park. It was probably better when it was the old Bothwellhaugh with the 14 bus route and the fishing pond

Think you'd need a snorkel to visit that place now My parents took me there one Sunday back in the '50s when they were visiting friends. I remember the odd little houses, well we did live in the luxurious Possil The bus journey was something else too
