Hi everyone
Hi everyone, what a great forum you have here!!
We are Matt and Emma and we live in mid Devon. We currently own an old Toyota Hiace High Top which has been amazing.
But after seeing an 04 Symbol which was completely modernised recently at a festival, we hanker for the extra space and all the cool features that an AS brings.
So currently on the look out for a 03 to 06 Symbol or AS Marquis Dorset in the Devon, Dorset, Cornwall, Somerset area if possible.
Can't wait to get one and get more involved in the forum.
Cheers

Re: Hi everyone
Good luck with your search.
PS. Westcountry Motorhomes have a 2008 Symbol. A bit out of your age range though.

Hi Emma & Matt
Welcome to the forum from Bridington, you might stand a better chance at the end of the summer season to get the Symbol your after, trade ins should be going into dealers. Plus others will be selling up their vans.
Boaby
Good luck

Re: Hi everyone
Hi and welcome from our corner of Lincolnshire. From my experience of searching for the right Symbol don’t rush and become blinkered. We struggled to find a Duetto and visited lots of dealers. By the time we found one we liked I missed a lot of rust issues.
Only as a matter of interest our current Rienza was sold new by West Country Motorhomes according to the documents we have.

Thank you Boaby and Dave 418, great advise. Yep trying not to rush is difficult but we know what we want and how much we can afford, so we can bide out time

Have you come across Eden Motorhomes of Scorrier near Redruth? I ask because the business is owned by an ex Marquis manager and he often seems to have AS vans on sale.

Re: Hi everyone
No I haven't but will have a look. We tend to avoid dealerships as they are often overpriced.
Our most local dealer vehicles are really rough and way overpriced. So probably worth looking further afield

Re: Hi everyone
I’m not saying I’d recommend Eden but, likewise, I know of no reason not to use them.
There’s a used MH dealer at Thorn Falcon near Taunton who often has a big stock. Somerset Motorhomes. I know nothing about them and they’re probably overpriced as well. Who isn’t?
