Don't understand the difficulty you've had getting on, I noticed a post from you only 2 weeks ago, I noticed it because you hadn't posted for quite a while. It's good that all your previous posts are still here but under your old username. Don't stay away so long next time.

Re: Hello All I am back
I don`t understand it either Paul. My system is up the creek, nothing works as it use to here, internet hit and miss, telephones don`t always work, might as well be in the desert. mobile phones don`t work here, trades people have to go further into village to use theirs, we are on the edge.
Hopefully I can keep getting logged in.
Must admit haven`t been on that much since we have moved to Norfolk, more to sort out than we thought.
We have a 2008 Hampshire, and mine is a 1998 Topaz which I use as a car as well as touring around, if staying over we use the Hampshire.
Lovely to be back, interested in all the topics that I have missed.
Many many thanks to Rose49f and Admin for helping me get on again. couoldn`t have done it without your help.

Merely ticking the "like" button doesn't seem enough, so let me add my welcome to those already posted. Your past contributions were invariably positive, pleasant and helpful, so I'm really pleased that you're back in action!

Re: Hello All I am back
Thank you guys for all your welcome messages, good to be back, hoping admin can get my original posts on forum,
I joined in the first 2 years of this forum , I think it was 2012 or thereabouts. when I had my first Topaz a 2002 model, then changed to a Clubman , then the Amethyst drove that for 5 months as a car, no problems except vising friends and family, not enough room outside their houses, so bought the present Topaz, after a while changed the Amazon for a Hampshire, all Auto-sleepers, wouldn`t consider any other firms.
Do love the VW`s although the Fords I have found to be also very good, very reliable.so I like to stick to those two base vehicles.
Just a short history into my motor homes adventures. Do wish I had changed to motor homes years earlier , had a caravan in total for about 30 years, , toured the continent etc. as well as the UK. MH`s are so much easier , can go anywhere and be self contained. no setting up fetching water etc as you all know.
I carry a full tank of fuel and water. still get very good mpg. Stop, kettle on or anything else then relax. no need to do anything else. unless hooking up of course.
Enjoy your motor homing.
Best regards,
Margaret

Re: Hello All I am back
Welcome back Daisy. I remember you buying the Hampshire around the same time we bought our Rienza. There seem to be a lot more Ford and VW owners on the forum recently.
I had hoped you were ok and understand the communication problems. There have been some places on our trips we’re we had no phone, internet or tv and it was not a great problem but being like that every day must be a bit of a pain. The world has become reliant on technology so when it fails we really miss it.
Managements sister in Australia has had communication problems or a long time. I could understand it iff she was in the Outback but she lives on the outskirts of Brisbane.
Your travel tactics are the same as ours. Fill tank and drive until we need a break. Kettle on muttly walked and let the world charge past.
We must catch up during one of our Deepdale escapes. Keep well meanwhile.

Sorry Margret I referred to you as your forum tittle not your name. Very impolite of me probably as a result of old age. Again sorry Margret.

That`s OK Dave, either is good, Be great to meet up again, haven`t been far since we moved here, need to explore a lot more of Norfolk, lovely to be near the coast.
Funnily enough it is a cold wind here, just a few minutes away from the beach, on the beach it was very warm .thought it would be the other way round, ooops!
