Intro to the group
Hi fellow autosleepers!
Apologies I missed this part initially.
My partner and I finally picked up our year 2000 transporter Gatcombe after several weeks of delays at the auto-electricians. A bit of a mad rush now to get everything ready before we leave so scrambling a bit but that’s all part of the fun and experience.
We are from the south west and very new to motorhome life. We made the life decision to take a year out of our lives whilst we still can, to see a bit more of the world and experience van life. It’s something that we always talked about but never thought we would actually make it so it’s super exciting and also scary. Starting in Wales to ease our way in, then some of the southwest coast path before making the move into Europe for the vast majority of the trip. The return journey will end in Scotland to tackle the north coast 500, to close out what will be a life changing experience.
Someone else in our house as of this Saturday, jobs down to zero hours, 1 day a week fully remote. Big changes…
