Hi to all members,
Just to introduce myself. I am aged 74 years and have just given up caravanning and have decided to purchase a 2 berth motorhome. Autosleeper models seem to be amongst the best available so I am looking for one to suit me and the wife. Have seen a Rienza which would suit my requirements but am not able to find much info on this model with the exception that Autosleepers no longer make it but Marquis motorhomes produce the model as one of their County range but not on a Tranny base. I fancy a Tranny because it must be easier to get Ford parts and servicing cheaper. Is this the case?

The Rienza is a nice van that was built on the Transit Mk6 (poss some on the Mk7) chassis 2.4td engine along with its Marquis stable mate the Hampshire.

When AS decided no more trannies and to stick with Mercs and the Italian lot it was continued as a Merc Hampshire. We have members on here with most the variants.

Nice van if you have the space to store it and the Hampshire models have electically adjustable single beds, which to me makes reading in bed a dream(!)

A similar model you could look at would be the Transit based Wilton (not identical but similar layout)

I have every confidence one of our owners will spot your post and come on with a bit more info than I have
