CCC Availability calendar
Has anyone discover how to access an availability calendar on the new "improved" CCC siteseeker app. I tried to use it to book a couple of sites but the, "put your dates in" request followed by the "no availability" message (repeatedly) has left me rather cross (think bear with a very very sore head )

Re: CCC Availability calendar
I think it changed last year. Putting your details, except dates, into the site search used to bring up the availability calendar. Now it won't accept a search without specific dates, unless someone knows better of course.

Re: CCC Availability calendar
Now you mention it I do seem to remember seeing an availability calendar, but then it disappeared and I couldn’t find it again. It would certainly be very useful.
If you go back long enough to about the turn of the century they did used to have it, but they “ improved “ the system and it disappeared but promised it would be reintroduced after a lot of complaints.

Yes that would be helpful. I have written to the club asking them for a solution, my breath is not being held.

Click the C&CC icon at top left to get the home screen, if you're not already on it.
Scroll down to get "Check Availability & Book"
Choose a "Destination" (top left, say, Scotland)
Click the Red Button "Search Club Sites"
Scroll to find your site: eg Loch Ness Shores and click Red Button "Book this Site"
A box will open asking you to "Select a pitch type"
Click the little arrow bottom right & select your pitch - eg Hardstanding with Electric
A calendar will now appear. Unavailable dates are in Grey, while availabe dates are in Bold (if you've got good eyesight)
Select your dates and book or look at another site on the list.

Thanks Sally, this is how I used to get the calendar but I can't do that anymore. Unless I put specific dates into the search box it will not proceed. This is what I get now

Try doing it without putting the actual site in (Moffat etc). I’ve just tried it and it works. You then select the site on the next page.Askit wrote:

I use all sorts of sites to be honest, from Aires in the UK, CLs, full sites etc. I usually pay £5 for the Aires up to £25 for the full CCC site with hardstanding, EHU, full facilities (if wanted). I’m happy to pay those prices as I love travelling the U.K., it’s a wonderful place.
Not done Europe in the van, and no real desire to. But I did enjoy the campervan in NZ and South America.

Thanks Sally, that worked It's been rather a frustrating few days trying to deal with several site booking systems. One of the sites (a private one) refuses to allow a search for anything less than 7 days. It's clearly a glitch and I have messaged the owners, but they don't appear to be interested.
