Another Newbie !
Hi,
Just a quick hello from anoher newbie.
I am a VW camper enthusiast and have owned a bay window, about 8 Westfalia T25's and a T4 Autosleeper Trident.
I currently have a T25 Westfalia Atlantic but have decided to change it for a T4 2.5 TDI Autosleeper Topaz (as I was impressed by build quality of the Trident and am looking for a bit more room and a van with a toilet / washroom). I would actually prefer an Autosleeper Clubman GL but unfortuantly it wont fit on my path ;-(
I also have a couple of websites about Autosleeper T25 campers and T4 Autosleeper campers where owners and enthusiasts can find out about which models were available and download sales brochures, owners manuals etc for free. (http://www.autosleeper.vwt25camper.info/ and http://www.autosleeper.vwt4camper.info/)
I will be putting a seperate post up in the wanted section but feel free to contact me if you read this and are selling an Autosleeper Topaz 2.5 TDI especially if you are in North West (although will travel for right van at right price ;-).
Cheers,
Dave

I can understand your desire for a Topaz and hope you find one soon, presume you have looked at the locals, Spinney, Marquis etc

Welcome from North Wales
Don't forget that the Topaz is not the only one VW with a washroom, there is also the Trophy.

WOW - Thanks for all the welcomes - what a friendly place ;-)
To answer some of the points - I have considered the Trophy but not too sure they did that with the 2.5 TDI or in long nose version which is what I would like? Prefer the look of the LWB Topaz compared to the SWB Trophy with back grafted on. Not to say I wouldnt consider a Trophy if it was immaculate, low mileage etc
I was at Spinney at the weekend looking at 1998 2.5TDI Topaz but it was the short nose version and as winter is coming and prices will be getting lower will wait and see what comes up over the next few months. Would prefer somthing 2000 onwards if possible.
Cheers,
Dave
