Sliding Bed Support, 2007 Nuevo
Hi
I cant check at the moment but I am fairly certain that the sliding double bed does not have a central drop down support when in use.
We have used it like this and I cant believe I have missed any support, but it just occurs to me that it does not seem correct.
If the side single beds are supposed to cantilever out as we have used it, the lever action and strain must be considerable on the side fixings.
Are there any issues here, or am I looking for problems.
I did see a recent Nuevo for sale and that had central supports mid aisle.
Thanks
Ang B

I've looked at pics of a couple of 2007 Nuevo and they don't have the legs on the pull out bench that most models have.

Hi and thanks
Yes I checked mine today.
I guess it was not thought necessary at the time, but as later models have them then perhaps it may be?
I feel very uncertain about the lack of support on what must be a vulnerable stress point.
Has anybody had a problem or decided to make a support I wonder.
Perhaps I am looking for a problem thats not there?
Thanks

Hi,
Our '07 doesn't have any central supports, we have had no problems with ours. I think its a very clever system, and works well.

Probably a bit late now but on my 2007 Nuevo the cupboard door under the seat by the fridge swings out 90 degrees and has a bolt that attaches to the other side of the aisle which is the central bed support

2007 is the changeover year from Nuevo to Nuevo II on new shape Boxer so maybe different depending which you have.

Yes, good thinking.
Having now seen a pic they are both Nuevo 11.
But I think Adam & Emily have the 4 berth and mine is 2. Perhaps that explains it.
Thanks
