Hello
Hello everyone. We are Dave and Di from near Bristol.
We have celebrated our retirement by purchasing a T5 Trident. We are newbies to the van scene but have a lot of camping experience. We are aiming to do short trips in the spring working up to longer adventures. We will probably be seeking advice and asking dumb questions!

Re: Hello
Hi Dave & Di, welcome from the East Neuk of Fife up in Scotland.
To paraphrase an old cliche, the only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask!
We all had to start from scratch sometime, so ask away. You will get lots of help, sometimes with conflicting advice, but at least you will then be armed with enough information to decide what is best for your own particular needs.
One thing I always recommend is to spend one or two nights in the van on your drive if possible, then if you've forgotten some critical item you won't have far to go to get it. And if something catastrophic happens, your own beds are nearby!
The main thing is to enjoy your new acquisition and start building up some great memories in it.
