New owner
Hi, I have, many years ago, camped and caravanned but never owned a motor home. I am now the proud owner of a Kemerton XL.
I already finding this a steep learning curve and am hoping this forum will help me to get the best out of the van. My first problem is an awning. I have a large Golden Retriever who really find the inside of the van too cramped for sleeping so I am now on my third awning and am struggling to find one that fits properly. Can anyone recommend one for me please? I would prefer a blow up to a pole one and have no preference for an internal groundsheet or not - it just needs to fit!
Thank you.
Ann

Re: New owner
I had an air pole awning and had trouble with the height.
I would suggest a freestanding tent,much easier.

Re: New owner
I currently have a drive away kit but have no particular awning in mind. It's that it seems the water tank needs filling after a few days and I don't want to have to take the awning down to go to the water point!
Blow up is easier and I can get the height for the van it's just the width I've been struggling with - I have now bought 3 and taken them all back!!

My only suggestion is visit some Caravan & Motorhome shows, or some of the bigger dealerships with awning displays, lots of drive away awnings manufactures on line.Ann Dobbins wrote:I currently have a drive away kit but have no particular awning in mind.
