Warwick Duo
Just wondered if any others on here have come across this issue.
If I put the key into the disconnect starter battery position overnight, when rebooting the system i.e. turning key to start the van, I have the EML displaying this stays on until I stop the van after a short drive and restart?
Odd or just Peugeot?
Secondly, is the battery cut off position on the ignition switch peculiar to camper van converted Peugeot or is it also found in the basic commercial van?

Re: Warwick Duo
It’s shared with the basic van, but it’s not intended for daily use. It’s for what the manual calls “prolonged periods”, and gives the example of winter storage. It’s quite possible it causes engine management, emissions or other learning systems to be forgotten and require relearning.
Regarding central locking etc, the manual says it doesn’t turn everything off straight away. It waits 7 minutes to allow time to get out and lock the vehicle. Because it does disable locking, except via the key or physical handles.

V8oholic, that is what I think may be happening, I had a neighbour scan it and it had a variety of codes relating to air intake and ABS non communication as well as manufacturer specific P1505 = idle air control adaptive clip. I am sure these are spurious codes as all functions well enough.
The reason I am isolating the s/battery is because on occasions it will be dead flat in the morning, not happened since disconnecting at night. Its a peculiar one as it seems completely random as to when it happens.

Re: Warwick Duo
Your battery should not flatten overnight so I suggest you start looking for the cause of that.
We found the solar charging on our Warwicks to be totally inadequate and would plug the van in to charge around once a week but the battery never ever drained in one night.
Our current WildAx that doesn't use Sargent systems doesn't even need plugging in once a week as the solar charging works.

Re: Warwick Duo
My thoughts are that if you are getting a load of error codes, it could simply be that the battery is on its last legs. I've had a car before which threw loads of quite random error codes but appeared otherwise to be OK. But within a couple of weeks, the battery failed completely. None of the errors reoccurred when a new battery was fitted, and they never came back.
