Mercedes Me woes
Anyone with a recent (2019 onwards?) Mercedes based vehicle using the Mercedes Me App?
It's useful to us for remotely checking various items including location, fuel and addblue levels, windows open/closed, lock status.
The Android App stopped working for us at the end of May and all I get from Mercedes support is that it's a global issue and developers are working on it with no clues on timescales for a fix.
Curious to know if anyone else using the Me App has problems.

Re: Mercedes Me woes
Have signed up for it (IOS) but never bothered to use it as I can’t figure out what benefit it is! Had by BMW car for three years and never used a fraction of the functionality either.
Generally if the vehicle has a fault it tells you when you are driving it. About 1.5 hours on the Autoroute my Bourton Mercedes display suggested I take a break. Clever stuff.

Re: Mercedes Me woes
I just tried the app. I can see my profile but no vehicle information plus a suggestion to try later. Not a lot of use then.

What licence are you referring to?
Did you have to do it and was there a cost?
If so any pointers to where to renew would be appreciated
Look forward to hearing if it worked!
Lots of questions I know but this app not working has been annoying me for some months now!

Success!
Today I was on a mission to find out what the problem was with Mercedes Me not working on my App after 6 weeks of exchanging emails with 'technical support'.
I called Mercedes Me support (answered in 2 rings) this morning and spent a pleasant 30mins talking to a most helpful and knowledgeable support person. To cut a long story short I was advised to keep my Mercedes Me account but dump the existing vehicle and then add back in as a new vehicle. This was achieved online through their website, but I needed to call them from the van using their connectivity to complete pairing the vehicle to my account. The advice was then to go for a 15min drive to allow everything to synchronise. And would you believe it, the app all works fine now. Problem solved with a phone call. A pretty good result and duly impressed with the efficiency of their telephone support.
